One of the greatest ways that you can ensure that your family is getting the highest quality foods is to grow it yourself.  Planting and raising a garden is relatively simple, even if you don’t have a lot of room in your yard or no yard at all.  Most herbs can be grown in a windowsill box and will produce throughout the year.  If you have a little bit more room, you can plant things like carrots, tomatoes, squash, onions, and a wide variety of other crops in a raised bed.  Seeing these plants grow and harvesting them to eat will be a rewarding experience that will result in a healthier lifestyle and lower grocery bills.  After growing your own food, you will never want to go back to the unhealthy processed junk you were eating before.
